Nathan Woolf Creative Works

As a kid, I quickly realized through my schoolwork that I was most effective when I could use more creative outlets for expression and for processing language. I would sketch instead of taking notes, and I was constantly curious about how the things that surrounded me were made. 

With a focus primarily on wood-based building, I have spent time working in architectural millwork and custom fabrication for over a decade. I also fill my time with other studio art practices such as drawing and sculpture, advancing my skills in more traditional media.

I find tremendous joy in trying to understand and facilitate the human experience, as well drawing inspiration from the calm clarity one gets from spending time in nature. I am fascinated by manipulating geometry, and seeking to understand the relationships people hold with different objects.
